Welcome to our odyssey! My name is Mary, and Ben is my lifetime partner. We have been together for 10 years! Currently we are traveling across the country in a 1990 Toyota Dolphin camper that Ben rehabbed. Since we first started dating, Ben talked about wanting a camper to be able to do this trip. In 2024, he acquired his camper (in need of some love) and got started working. He has put in countless hours renovating and planning. It cannot be overlooked that he used to be a mechanic and is now a carpenter by trade. Not only does he possess the skill set to bring his dreams to life, but also, he has the tenacity! He knew the camper bones (mechanics) were good, but it was pretty much a gut job, as there was significant water damage in the bathroom. I am so proud of everything he’s done to make this little camper a comfortable little home for us while we are on the road!
